UPOLabs Tech Salon Tour: Engaging with Beijing’s Academic Community

In October 2023, UPOLabs visited six prestigious institutions—including Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences—hosting nine interactive tech salons.

Each event featured two key segments:

1. Themed Presentations

PSSG technical experts delivered four cutting-edge lectures:

• "HDSLM Spatial Light Modulators: Design Innovations & Biomedical Applications"

• "High-Precision Projection and Beam Control Using DMD Technology"

• "Potential Applications of SLMs in Optical Remote Sensing"

• "Cascaded Phase Design Architectures with Spatial Light Modulators"

2. Q&A and Collaborative Problem-Solving

Researchers and UPOLabs engineers engaged in in-depth discussions on real-world challenges encountered in labs. Solutions were documented and added to a shared knowledge base, creating a resource for future reference.
