To significantly improve operational efficiency, the customized design of Smart DMD SLM adopts an cooperative interaction mode of user intention and machine collaboration to complete the addressing data update control of spatial light modulators.

The core concept of Smart DMD SLM is to re-structure the interaction mode and  system-level calculation capability of modulator, which  achieves acceleration using graphic hardware by utilizing the computing power and logic control capability of FPGA.Meanwhile the Time Sequence Synchronization is associated with Addressing Mechanism for a synchronize control of external devices.

The Smart DMD SLM is the core element for calculation capability and device control in the optical experimental system.

It features in one-loading to repeat the computing addressing leading to significant decline of the data transmission amount between computer and DMD SLM.
